Chaplains

The Chaplain may respond when contacted to the following incidents:

  • A critical incident is in progress
  • A critical injury or death of a firefighter
  • The incident involves a victim that is a member of a District member’s family
  • Care is needed for the family of the victim while treatment is underway
  • The victim or the family requests the services of a chaplain or clergy

Chaplains may also respond to the hospital when:

  • A member of the District is the victim
  • A family member of District personnel is the victim
  • A District member or family member is hospitalized and a chaplain is specifically requested
